TIMESHEET PROCEDURES

  • All MSC Staff are required to Clock In and Out using the Workday Online Time Clock system at the Information Desk when arriving and leaving work, as well as for break/lunch time in order to get paid.

  • When clocking in, staff must be fully uniformed and ready to work.

  • Staff members are not permitted to clock out of their shift until the shift has concluded.

  • All staff members MUST clock out and back in for their shifts.

  • All hours must be SUBMITTED every Friday in order to get PAID!



BREAK/LUNCH TIME POLICY FOR MIRON STUDENT CENTER STAFF

Students must take appropriate breaks and indicate them on their time sheets.

  • Students are not authorized to work more than seven (7) hours in one day.

  • A total of 6 hours of work or more require a 1 hour break.

  • A total of 4 hours of work or more require a 1/2 hour break.

    • Example: 6 hours and 30 minutes require a 1 hour break. The employee will be compensated for 5 hours and 30 minutes.

    • 4 hours and 5 minutes require a 1/2 hour break. The employee will be compensated at 3.5 hours.



EATING WHILE ON DUTY

  • Eating on duty is not permitted.

  • Staff are not permitted to clock in, and then go to any of the MSC eateries to get something to eat. Time should be allocated into your daily schedule for meals; around your shift and or during break times.

  • You must receive permission from a Professional Staff member before getting food that is left over, in any of the conference rooms. You are not to interrupt a Conference while they are in session to get food. All employees must wait until the end of the Conference before getting something to eat. Employees are not to hover around the conference room or ask for anything to eat.
