PUBLIC EMERGENCIES

A public emergency is a situation where an existing or alleged condition presents a real or potential danger or threat to the safety and well-being of the building's occupants.

This includes:

  • Fires

  • Smoke

  • Blackouts

  • Bomb threats

  • Power or utility shortages

*In the event of any public emergency, the Miron Student Center is to be evacuated completely (See Evacuation Procedure). After this point, no one will be allowed to enter the building other than the appropriate public safety personnel (i.e. Campus Police, Firefighter etc.)
