EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

GENERAL PROCEDURES

In the event of an emergency the following general steps are to be followed.

• Assess the severity of the emergency situation.

• If potential threat of physical harm, i.e. Fight, fire, bomb threat, notify the appropriate people in the following order:

  • Campus Police

  • Immediate supervisor. (i.e. Student Manager, Graduate Asst.)

  • Professional Staff Member

• If NOT a potential threat of physical harm, notify the appropriate people in the following order.

  • Immediate supervisor (i.e. Student Manager, Graduate Assistant)

  • Professional Staff Member

  • Campus Police

• In any emergency, an Incident Report must be completed and given immediately to a professional staff member.
