Job Function: Game Room Attendant for the Miron Student Center Game Room Attendant is a paraprofessional staff member whose main
purpose is to assist in the daily operations of the Game Room. The primary function of the Game Room is to provide a safe and dedicated space for games, relaxation, and entertainment.
Expectations of Game Room Attendant:
Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Must be able to attend bi-weekly departmental meetings as well as monthly All-Staff meetings.
Must maintain a minimum of 12 credits per semester
Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality customer service to all individuals who visit the Miron Student Center
Responsible for confirmation of all Kean students eligibility to visit the facility
Ensuring all Kean students are swiped in
Ensure that all guests of Kean students are logged in with their host
Manage and record the distribution of MSC Game Room equipment
Inspect all Game Room equipment each time it is turned back in
Maintain security of Game Room participants
Confront all policy violations with professionalism and courtesy
Ensure that all patrons are using equipment appropriately
Document situations to Game Room Management Team
Assist with any programs or events being coordinated or hosted in the Game Room
